The Subconscious
The subconscious mind is so powerful ! I have always read about it, but today I saw an actual example.
I had picked up some beer yesterday - The staple, Molson and some O'Douls. I had never had O'Douls before. I had a colleague of mine drop in, today evening. He drank the Molson and I had the O'Douls. And as usual, after about three beers, I had a pleasent buzz :-)
However, then I realized, to my consternation that O'Douls was non-alcoholic ! I had gotten drunk on non-alcoholic beer. How powerful the subconscious is ! Or maybe the brain is just lazy and just replays the same emotions/reactions to certain events ....

Funny Vel...maybe you just had an empty stomach when you drank the beer. IMO, even the so-called non-alcoholic beer has about 1% of alcohol.
You'd be surprised to know that Coke contains yeast too, and if you let it sit out for a couple weeks, you actually get alcohol!
Yes, I agree and also how I felt is, you are on road driving car and you are busy on something or having conversation and thinking something seriously, the decision has to be taken now, but you don't give your mind then mechanical mind will take a decision based on your previous experience
Yeah, there are many situations where we make automatic decisions - I guess its important that we do, otherwise we would neer get anything done other than walking or eating etc ...
i remember my kiddy days someone saying..
ore thalai valiia irru.. oru bovonta vangi kudikkanum..
is that having some connection to you non-alchoholic beer theory?
Haha, bovonto, kali mark, kann mark, mappillai vinayagar soda ...
